You know what triggers you.
You might even know why it triggers you.
But knowing why doesn't necessarily stop it happening.
You still say yes when you meant to say no.
That one person can still completely set you off.
You tell yourself you won't react next time...
then react exactly the same way.
You know the pattern.
And you've probably had more than a few words with yourself about repeating it.
But if there's still emotional charge attached to the trigger, understanding it isn't always enough to change what happens next.
That's where I work.
I work with the emotional charge attached to the things that trigger you, through the nervous system.
Sometimes it's one specific thing.
Sometimes there are patterns everywhere.
Sometimes you know there's stuff underneath it all, but you're nowhere near ready to go there.
And sometimes you don't want to go there at all.
You just want to cope better with life.
Wherever you are, we start there.
A trigger doesn't always look like a big reaction.
Sometimes someone says something and you're thinking about it for the next three days.
Sometimes you feel their mood change and immediately start wondering what you've done.
Sometimes you mean to say no and hear yourself saying yes.
Sometimes something tiny happens and you completely lose your shit.
Sometimes you shut down.
Sometimes you get up and find something to do because sitting still suddenly feels uncomfortable.
Sometimes you know you're overreacting and still can't seem to stop yourself.
That's the bit that can be so frustrating.
You know.
And it still happens.
So why does it keep happening?
Because understanding a trigger and changing your response to it aren't always the same thing.
There can still be emotional charge attached to what happened, what was said, that person, that memory, that fear or that pattern.
That's the part I work with.
I work through the nervous system to help change the charge attached to it.
Sometimes the work is around something happening in your life now.
Sometimes we find something much older underneath it.
Sometimes the work goes as deep as trauma.
And sometimes it doesn't need to.
We work with what's actually there.
Where would we begin?
With what you're struggling with now.
“I just need to cope better.”
“There's stuff underneath this, but I'm not ready to go there.”
“It's this one thing that keeps triggering me.”
“There are patterns everywhere.”
“I've done loads of work on myself. Things just come up sometimes.”
You don't need to know what kind of nervous system work you need.
You tell me what's happening.
We'll start there. → Explore the different ways we can work together
Every week I share reflections, nervous system insights, and behind the scenes thoughts about this work.
No noise.
No overwhelm.
Just the things that actually help.
