You go quiet in the moment
Then spend hours wondering if you should have said something.
Replaying the conversation.
Reading into the silence.
Wondering whether you imagined it.
Talking yourself out of what you felt.
That's the moment I work with.
I'm Tara Gallagher.
I help women stop abandoning themselves in the moments that matter.
Not by teaching them what to say.
But by helping them respond differently in the moments that matter.
This work isn't something I learned from a textbook.
I grew up in a house where safety meant staying quiet.
Keeping the peace.
Not taking up too much space.
Not making things worse.
My body became brilliant at noticing everyone else...
and almost impossible to hear myself.
I didn't know that was trauma.
I just thought that was who I was.
Years later, I realised nothing had really changed.
I was still staying quiet.
Still overthinking.
Still second-guessing myself.
And then I started seeing those same patterns beginning to show up in my children.
That was the moment everything changed.
Not because I suddenly understood it.
Because I decided the pattern was going to stop with me.
Today, I spend my days helping women create the change I wish I'd known was possible much earlier.
They've read the books.
They've had therapy.
They're incredibly self-aware.
But when it actually matters...
their body still freezes.
They still explain too much.
Stay quiet.
Apologise.
Keep the peace.
Leave themselves.
Knowing why you respond that way doesn't always change what happens in the moment.
If it did...
you'd already be doing it.
The work looks different for every woman I support.
Sometimes that means working with the nervous system.
Sometimes it's subconscious repatterning.
Sometimes it's REMAP or breathwork.
What matters isn't the technique.
It's helping you stop leaving yourself when life asks the most of you.
Everything changes when you stop leaving your own life.
That's the work.
I work with clients online worldwide and in person from West Sussex.
Everything changes in a moment.
We lose ourselves in moments.
We come back in moments too.
