Shangri-La - The Happiness Project-2027

A four-day immersive retreat for women who are ready to stop holding everything together.
You've been the one who keeps going.

Thinking about what needs doing next.

Noticing what everyone else needs.

Holding things together even when you're tired of being the one holding them.

Maybe you've spent years trying to understand why you feel the way you do.

You've read the books.

Joined the workshops.

Done the work.

Or maybe you've never done any of that.

You just know you're tired of feeling like you're always on.

You want to stop.

To relax without thinking about what you should be doing.

To listen to yourself.

To join in when you want to and sit something out when you don't.

To laugh.

To have fun.

To feel more like you again.

Shangri-La was created to give you the space to do exactly that.

Not four days of working on yourself.

Four days where you get to put some of what you've been carrying down and notice what becomes possible when there's finally some room for you.

Held at The MIll House
Monday 5th - 8th July 2027

A peaceful, fully catered countryside retreat with:
✔ Daily nervous system practices
✔ Conscious Connected Breathwork
✔ REMAP experiences woven throughout the retreat
✔ Somatic Dynamic Breathwork
✔ Nourishing food, quiet mornings, laughter, firepits and space to simply be.

Who this is for:

This isn’t a “learn more” retreat

It’s where you stop holding it all together

For the woman who knows something needs to feel different... even if she can't quite explain what.

Who looks calm... while quietly bracing underneath.

Who's done managing... and is ready to feel different.

Why this retreat feels different

You don't need another breakthrough.

You need enough safety for everything you already know...
to finally settle.

That's what these four days create.
Not pressure.
Not performance.
Space.

Enough space for your nervous system to stop preparing for what's no longer happening.

Enough space to notice yourself again.

Enough space for change to last when you go home.

A note from me

I created Shangri-La because I know what it feels like to look like you're coping...  while quietly holding everything together underneath.

For years, I thought I just needed to try harder.
To stay calmer.
To be more understanding.
To keep the peace.

But no amount of understanding changed what my body had learned.

It stayed on alert.
It kept bracing.
It kept preparing for something that had already ended.

Shangri-La is the space I wish I'd found back then.

Not somewhere to become someone else.

Somewhere to finally stop holding yourself together.

Everything here is designed to work with your nervous system.

So the changes you experience don't stay at the retreat... they begin to follow you home.

What happens after the retreat surprises even me...

This Is Where Things Actually Change

Three women have left this retreat and made decisions they had been circling for years.

Not because I pushed them.
Not because they had a dramatic breakthrough.
Because their nervous systems finally stopped bracing.

When your body stops bracing, you stop tolerating what drains you.

One woman realised she could no longer stay in the job that had been quietly eroding her confidence. As her nervous system settled, so did her relationship with food.
She lost 1.5 stone - not through force, but because her body no longer needed to cope in the same way.

One woman left a relationship she had been emotionally negotiating with for years.

One woman realised she needed a different kind of support and that clarity eventually led her out of an abusive dynamic.

I did not tell them to leave anything.

Their systems simply stopped mistaking peace for danger.

And stopped second-guessing themselves in the moment.
And once that happened - they could see clearly.

Why This Matters

Real change rarely begins with a decision.

It begins when your nervous system no longer experiences that decision as a threat.

That's why insight isn't always enough.

Sometimes your body needs the time and safety to catch up with what your mind already knows.

That's what these four days create.
Not motivation.
Capacity.

What people often notice when they get home...

• Conversations feel lighter.
• You stop replaying everything you said.
• Your shoulders soften.
• You laugh more easily.
• You notice yourself before everyone else.
• Decisions become quieter.
• You stop feeling like you're constantly "on."
• You start trusting yourself in the moment.

If you've found yourself reading this page more than once...
...there may already be a part of you that knows.
